online or over the phone.
The Littleton Electric Light and Water Departments are pleased to add an additional payment option for customers interested in using their credit card to pay their utility bill. Paymentus Corporation is a third party automated payment service that accepts Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit and debit cards or payment from your checking or savings account.
- You can pay your bill right away, any time, any day, 24x7.
- Paymentus will charge a service fee for each transaction.
What do I need to pay by credit card?
Customers should be ready with:
- The last 10 digits of your account number (located on your billing statement).
- For example, for account number 024-12345678-90, you only need
to enter the last 10 digits, omitting the hyphen, as highlighted.
- The balance owed on your bill, and
- Your credit or debit card.
- Or your checking or savings account number and bank routing number
How do I access the service?
Why is there a service fee?
Paymentus charges a non-refundable fee to use their service. It is based on the amount of the bill and covers payment handling and processing charges.
For example, for bills less than $130, the fee is $3.95. You will see the amount of the fee before you agree to make payment.
Is LELWD getting any part of the fee?
NO. LELWD does NOT receive any part of the Paymentus fee. By not accepting credit cards directly, LELWD avoids paying credit card service fees. These savings are reflected in our rates. Paymentus is an independent company providing this service for our customers. |
