Street Lights and Private Area Lighting
The Electric Light Department will install and maintain private area yard lights up to 150 feet from the distribution wires for a flat monthly fee.
Energy Survey
At Littleton Electric Light Department we provide our residential customers with complimentary energy audits to determine how they may improve energy efficiency and lower electrical costs. We send a professional energy advisor to your home who will inspect it from top to bottom. He or she will provide useful information and tips on appliance usage and you will receive a computerized report detailing recommendations and payback time for any improvements suggested. While at your home the energy advisor will also install up to $30 of energy saving materials. The entire audit usually takes about 1-1/2 hours to complete.

Payment plans
The Littleton Electric Light Department offers programs to assist customers experiencing cases of temporary economic hardship. By calling or visiting our office, it may be possible to make payment arrangements to avoid the disconnection of your electric service. Our business office can help you work out a plan based on your situation and ability to pay.
Accounts that are delinquent for over 45 days are subject to termination after proper notification. The sooner you call to make arrangements, the less likely that your service will be scheduled for termination.
Budget Billing
The budget-billing plan is a payment option in which your electric bill is the same each month for 11 months of the year, with the 12th month calculated to cover the bill in full. The monthly amount is based on the previous year's use. Many customers appreciate the convenience of budgeting the same amount for 11 months. If interested in the budget-billing plan, please call the business office to make arrangements.
Senior Citizen and Disabled Customer Discounts
The base customer charge is waived for senior citizens (age 62 and over) and handicapped persons. Please call to let us know if you fall within either of these categories and we will gladly remove the charge from your bill. |
