We have a meter-mounted surge protection unit which protects against surges coming in through electric lines. While we believe it is one of the best protection units on the market, nothing is 100% effective and
certainly lightning strikes can enter your home through coax cable from your satellite or antennae and also through telephone line, but this unit is very helpful for surges that roll through power lines. For more details, click here.
Generlink™
Application
GenerLink™ is a product that makes connecting a portable generator easy and safe while providing homeowners the flexibility of using a portable generator to operate virtually any appliance in their home.
Current costs for GenerLink products are as follows:
30 Amp (8,000 watt max) GenerLink with 20 ft. cord and built in surge protection – $625.00
40 Amp (12,000 watt max) GenerLink with 20 ft. cord and built in surge protection – $725.00
Longer cords are available in 20′ increments at a cost of $50.00 per each additional 20 feet.
Private Lighting
LELD installs street lights as well as area lights at the request of our customers. Private Lighting falls under the Electric Rate Schedule 80. Click this link for more info.
