The scholarship is in memory of the late Denise Pagacik to recognize the positive impact she had in our community by assisting students to achieve their career goal. Dual Enrollment Program
The Littleton Electric Light and Water Department partners with Littleton High School to create a dual enrollment program for Littleton High School students who are interested in pursuing college-level courses in the fields of engineering/technology or environmental sciences.
The Dual Enrollment program provides opportunities for Littleton High School students to take college-level courses and earn credit for their future college degrees. LELWD will cover the cost of the course as well as any books that the student may need. Learn more.
Green Rewards Shade Tree Program
In 10 years, this program has planted 1,310 trees in Littleton and Boxborough. It is open to LELWD customers at no charge. LELWD employees plant the trees every October. Trees provide natural cooling and consume carbon dioxide. A mature tree can lower energy use between 100-250 kilowatt-hours per year. Learn more.
Holiday Lights
Around Thanksgiving every year, our light crews and bucket trucks get to work stringing thousands of holiday lights on the Common in preparation for the annual Holiday Lights Ceremony.
Rain Barrels
We periodically offer a discount on rain barrels to water ratepayers to help them collect and store rainwater, conserve drinking water, and reduce their water bills.
Safety Seminars
